The CCR665 Thyristor Constant Current Regulator is fourth generation of a very high quality regulator for Airport Lighting Systems and the design is based on more than 30 years experience with Thyristor regulators.

The CCR65 is designed with an analogue feedback loop, controlling the current through thyristors working in an antiparallel coupling, operating after the phase control principle. A dedicated processor with non-volatile memory performs the overall control and monitoring as well as the interface.

The local control panel including a Liquid Crystal Display fulfils the requirements of the international standards for HMI (Human Machine Interface).

During the design phase great effort has been taken to ensure an extremely reliable CCR easy to service.
